Peanut Butter & Berry Toasted Wraps (AKA “G’s Tortillas”)

Simple ingredients.
Family-approved.

These toasted peanut butter and berry wraps have a special nickname in our family: "G's Tortillas." Named after my dad ("G" to my kids), they've become a breakfast tradition that's requested during sleepovers, vacations, and slow weekend mornings.

I love them because they're simple, nourishing, and made with everyday ingredients that support lasting energy. My kids love them because they're warm, crispy, and delicious. It's a recipe that's been enjoyed for years, and I hope it becomes a favorite in your home, too.

Ingredients with a purpose

Protein

This recipe is a good source of protein, which is essential for building and repairing tissues, making enzymes, hormones, and is an important building block of bones, muscles, cartilage, skin, and blood.

Antioxidants

The raspberries and blueberries in this recipe are packed with antioxidants, which help protect your cells against the effects of free radicals and can reduce the risk of disease.

Healthy Fat

The peanut butter and extra virgin olive oil provide healthy fats, which are essential for brain function, nutrient absorption, and cell growth. These fats also help to keep you feeling full and satisfied.

Ingredients: 1 Serving

  • 2 tbsps All Natural Peanut Butter

  • 2 Corn Tortillas

  • 1/2 cup Raspberries

  • 1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 1/2 cup Plain Greek Yogurt

  • 1/4 cup Blueberries

  • 1 tsp Hemp Seeds

Recipe:

  • Assemble the wraps by dividing the peanut butter evenly down the middle of each tortilla. Divide the raspberries between each tortilla and mash with a fork.

  • Fold each side of the tortilla inward to close the wrap. Repeat with each tortilla.

  • Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.

  • Working in batches as needed, place each tortilla folded side down in the pan and cook for two to three minutes. Gently flip and cook for one more minute.

  • Place the wraps onto a plate and top them with yogurt, blueberries, and hemp seeds. Enjoy!

More Notes:

  • Leftovers: Best enjoyed immediately.

  • Serving Size: One serving is equal to two wraps.

  • More Flavor: Top with maple syrup or raw honey. Cook in coconut oil to sweeten the flavor profile.

  • Gluten-Free: Use a gluten-free tortilla instead (i.e. almond or cassava flour tortilla).

  • Make it Vegan: Use a plant-based yogurt alternative (i.e. coconut yogurt).

  • No Peanut Butter: Use another nut or seed butter.

  • Make it Faster: Drop it in the toaster or toaster oven (rather than cook in a pan). Make sure the fold is tight so the peanut butter & raspberries don't spill out.
